Mr Mifsud has expertise in a wide range of conditions, including hip dysplasia and DDH, hip problems in young adults, neuromuscular disorders (e.g., cerebral palsy), bone tumours and complex joint reconstruction in children and young adults, hip disorders, disorders of the paediatric knee, foot, and ankle, limb deformities, bone infections and paediatric trauma. He offers a comprehensive range of treatments including: hip reconstruction and preservation surgery, open and arthroscopic (keyhole) knee surgery, tendon transfers, corrective osteotomies of various bones, upper limb corrective surgery, and foot & ankle surgery.

He is also a Medical Expert in personal injury and condition and prognosis reporting, with experience working both with claimants and defendants.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Mifsud is an experienced educator, holding a position as a Visiting University Lecturer, where he imparts his knowledge at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
