Dr Simon Wharton is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with a special interest in Sleep Disorders. He qualified from Guy's and St. Thomas Hospital, London in 1992 and was appointed his first Consultant position in Respiratory Medicine in 2000. In 2009, he took a sabbatical from his post and spent a year at a Sleep Centre at the renowned Stanford University in California which developed his interest in Sleep Disorders. He returned to the UK and moved to Birmingham's Heartlands Hospital where he became the Lead for Sleep Medicine, helping clients suffering from common sleep issues such as narcolepsy, sleepwalking, night terrors and sleep phase disorders. Dr Wharton practices privately with the prestigious BMI Healthcare at the Priory Hospital, Birmingham and Spire Healthcare at the Parkway Hospital, Solihull, where he offers a prompt and unparalleled service to his clients.
