Mr. Deb Roy is a Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon currently practicing within the Mater Private Network at Dublin Hospital, Limerick Spine Centre and Kilkenny Spine Centre. He went on to complete higher specialist training in Neurosurgery in the West Midlands, gaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Neurosurgery.
In 2013, he was awarded the Travelling Fellowship from the North American Spine Society (NASS), which allowed him to train with leading spinal surgeons in the United States. He subsequently completed two prestigious fellowships: an AO Spine–recognised Orthopaedic & Spine Fellowship in Adelaide, Australia, and a Neurosurgical Spinal Fellowship at Salford Royal Hospital in Manchester, UK. He later served as a Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, one of the UK’s largest neurosurgical centres.
