Darüber hinaus engagiert sich Dr. med. Rößing in der Sportmedizin und betreut Leistungssportler. Er ist medizinischer Ausbilder des Hockey Bundes Baden-Württemberg und Mitglied der International Cartilage Research Society (ICRS).
