About
Dr Win also has a role as the psychiatric expert adviser for a worldwide health insurance provider that offers second opinions, advises on mental health care policies, and provides education and training of staff. Furthermore, he is ardent about Tele Health and has done some groundbreaking work for an acclaimed London-based technology company offering smart phone consultations which are getting more prevalent nowadays.
Dr Win studied medicine at the University of Leicester, where he obtained his medical degree (MBChB) in 1999. After completing his basic medical training, he went on to The St George's psychiatric training scheme in South West London until 2006. He achieved his membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPysch) qualification in 2010. He subsequently enrolled in a leadership course organised by the NHS Leadership Academy, partnering with Manchester and Birmingham Universities as well as the Kings Fund. In 2013, he achieved his Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Leadership and Service Improvement.
In his practice, Dr Win prides himself on his ability to quickly develop strong relationships with patients, which helps him facilitate their recovery. He uses evidence-based medication treatments, and has a thorough understanding of the psychological aspects of mental health conditions. Dr Win's approach is tailored specifically to each individual's needs and preferences, with the aim being to provide them with the best possible care.
