About Dr Reza Rasool
Dr. Reza Rasool is a Consultant Cardiologist and the lead clinician for Coronary Intervention at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, a role he has held since 2019. He also contributes to the regional Primary Coronary Angioplasty service through his honorary contract with Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. Dr. Rasool is proficient in all areas of general cardiology, with a particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. His clinical focus includes investigating chest pain, risk factor modification, and performing advanced procedures such as invasive coronary angiography and angioplasty. Dr. Rasool completed his undergraduate medical training at University College London, followed by specialty cardiology training on the West Yorkshire rotation. During this period, he gained comprehensive expertise in general cardiology and refined his subspecialty skills in coronary intervention during his final years at the renowned Yorkshire Heart Centre.
