About

Dr Prafull Maharishi is an Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon at Aster Clinic in Dubai. He specialises in all aspects of the management of trauma surgery and has performed over 4000 trauma surgery procedures. He also has several years of experience in rehabilitation and the management of sports injuries.
He has special interests in minimally invasive knee surgery, total knee replacement; complex and polytrauma surgery; ligament, tendon & muscle injuries; disc pain; lower back pain; cervical pain; rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Dr Maharishi obtained his medical degree from SMS Medical College, India in 1995. In 2000 he completed his Master of Surgery degree in Orthopaedics and became a Zimmer Arthroplasty Fellow in 2009. He further developed his expertise in joint replacement surgery through an advanced arthroplasty training program in Taiwan in 2013 and training in pelvic acetabular trauma management in 2017. He has attended other symposiums and training courses in other areas of orthopaedics.
He is a Member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association and the Rajasthan Orthopaedic Association.
