About Dr Dr. Nicolai Hübner
Dr. Nicolai Hübner, ist seit 2016 an der Universitätsklinik für Urologie der medizinischen Universität Wien tätig. Er ist Facharzt für Urologie und Leiter der Ambulanz für Prostata Karzinom und prostatische Erkrankungen. Er behandelte im Rahmen der Ausbildung ein breites Spektrum an urologischen Patienten, mit einem Schwerpunkt auf uro-onkologische Erkrankungen.Seine besondere Spezialisierung ist das Prostata Karzinom, bei dem er sich neben der Prävention, Diagnostik, lokaler Therapie und systemischer Therapie auch mit der Behandlung von Nebenwirkungen und Folgen der Therapie beschäftigt. Hier ist sein Ziel für jeden Patienten eine ganzheitliche Behandlung die für den Menschen und die Erkrankung adäquat ist, zusammenzustellen. Um dies zu ermöglichen beschäftigt er sich auch in der Forschung mit zahlreichen Aspekten der Erkrankung mit besonderem Fokus auf moderne Bildgebung. Auch die Behandlung von Beschwerden durch eine gutartige Vergrößerung der Prostata, wie häufiger Harndrang und Entzündungen, ist Teil seiner klinischen Tätigkeit.Durch seinen Aufenthalt in den USA konnte er seine klinische und operative Expertise, sowie internationale Kollaborationen ausbauen. Er nimmt regelmäßig an nationalen und internationalen Kongressen Besucher und Vortragender Teil und ist Mitglied mehrere wissenschaftlicher Arbeitsgruppen.
