About Mr Stefano Giuliani
Mr Stefano Giuliani is a leading specialist neonatal and paediatric surgeon working at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Associate Professor at the University College London (UCL). He has exceptional surgical skills in complex areas including neonatal surgery, surgical oncology, paediatric trauma, and kidney transplantation. He also has extensive experience in the latest surgical techniques, including minimally invasive techniques, which allows him to offer a broad range of effective treatment options that minimise scarring, post-surgical pain, and length of hospital stay. Mr Giuliani gained his medical degree in Italy in 2000. He went on to undertake a five-year course at the University of Padova before becoming a certified paediatric surgeon in 2006. He also holds a United States medical licence and spent four years working at the University of Southern California. His training includes a Clinical International Fellowship in paediatric surgery at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, which is one of the best paediatric hospitals in America. In addition to his post at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, he is also an Associate Professor at the University College London.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
