About Mr Roger McPherson
Mr. Roger McPherson is a consultant ophthalmic and vitreoretinal surgeon at the Cardiff Eye Clinic and the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Mr. McPherson qualified from Southampton University Medical School in 1986 and joined the British Army on a short service commission to begin training as an ophthalmologist. He was an ophthalmology registrar in Cardiff and Swansea, before undertaking a vitreoretinal fellowship in Melbourne, further extending his knowledge and skillset. Mr. McPherson undertakes his private practice at Spire Cardiff Hospital where he provides a general ophthalmology and cataract surgery service as well as consultations for ocular trauma, diabetic eye disease and vitreoretinal disorders.
