Mr Sood runs a hip and knee unit at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and has earned three Clinical Excellence Awards for his work.

Mr Sood treats all lower limb sports injuries in athletes and weekend warriors and also has an interest in the treatment of tendon pain, especially tendinopathies.

Mr Sood graduated from Guys Hospital in 1992 and went on to train at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), where he became a clinical lecturer in the Professorial Unit. In 2004, he received additional specialist training in hip and knee surgery at two centres of excellence in North America: The Mayo Clinic and Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was mentored by two of the world's best hip and knee surgeons.
