Mr
Mr Krishna Singh
General Surgery
About
In 2005, Mr. Singh further expanded his knowledge by spending several weeks at Osaka University Hospital in Japan, assisting with the surgical management of upper GI cancers. He pioneered the first laparoscopic (keyhole) surgeries to remove stomach cancers in the UK, demonstrating these techniques widely both nationally and internationally. Mr. Singh’s work in minimally invasive surgery has greatly contributed to the adoption of these procedures, and he has published papers and presented them at numerous conferences.
A passionate educator, Mr. Singh has been involved in teaching and training throughout his career. He served as a surgical tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons and as Vice Chairman of Basic Surgical Training for Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. Additionally, he has played an active role in national surgical societies and is currently serving on the council of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
Mr Singh has been on the Council of Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI) for more than ten years. He is currently the Regional Representative for South East and on the council of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ALSGBI). He is also Quality Assurance Assessor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
— Mr Krishna Singh
