About Mr James Walkden
James Walkden obtained his training at St. Andrews and Manchester medical schools and moved to the North West of England to complete his Neurosurgical training in the North West of England. He moved ahead to complete a Fellowship in Neuro-oncology surgery at the Walton Centre in Liverpool. His Consultant position was secured thereafter in Aberdeen in 2015. James Walkden works as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in the NHS at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Scotland and he is also interested in neuro-oncology, spinal surgery, and CSF disorders. His particular interest includes all aspects of minimally invasive cranial and spinal surgery. He believes in the use of multimodality technology as well as microscopy, image guidance, and endoscopy for the improvement of patient comfort and surgical safety.
