Mr Chakravarthy completed his primary medical degree at the University of Delhi, India in 1998. He later completed a Master's degree in Orthopaedics at the same university. He then moved to the UK and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003 and a Trauma and Orthopaedic Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009.
He also holds memberships with the British Elbow and Shoulder Society and the British Medical Association.
