About
Dr Cesar Munoz studied dentistry in his home town, at Valencia University (Spain) where he graduated with commendation in 2008.
Following graduation Dr Munoz started working in general dental practices in Spain, where he developed his interest in endodontics (root canal treatment), which he describes as his ‘true life's vocation'. He then went on to study an MSc in Endodontics and passed with honors in 2010.
Dr Munoz moved to London in 2011 and has since worked in several private practices where he focuses on the treatment of complex root canal treatments. His aim is to always to try to save the tooth by providing the best quality root canal treatment possible under correct conditions and with the best materials available. He has a vast experience in immature apexes, perforations and curved canals.
As well as his private practice Dr Munoz also combined private practice with teaching undergraduate students in the endodontic-restorative department at Guy's Dental Hospital until 2016. Here he took students through their first experience in the field of endodontics. He was responsible for teaching them the theoretical as well as practical aspects of root canals treatment and he made sure that they had good foundations in this very complex field. Since then he has been invited to teach in post-graduate courses which include theoretical and hands-on aspects. . Dr Munoz is also very interested in research and has published in the Journal of Endodontics and has been invited to attend numerous national and international congresses about Endodontics and postgraduate courses to maintain his awareness in every part of dentistry.
Most importantly Dr Munoz is a genuinely caring perfectionist who enjoys his work and spending time with his patients. Dr Munoz always takes time to explain all treatment options available to patients to ensure that they are fully informed regarding their treatment. He endeavours to provide pain-free, comfortable treatment in a relaxed and friendly manner and comes highly recommended by other patients who have received treatment.
