About Mr Kwan David Goh
Dr David Goh is a highly skilled Vascular, Endovascular, Renal Access & Spinal Access Surgeon, based in Melbourne. After graduating from The University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2005, he completed his General and Vascular surgical training in various hospitals throughout Melbourne, and spent a year at Auckland City Hospital. Dr Goh obtained a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in General Surgery in 2013, followed by a second fellowship in Vascular Surgery in 2017. Dr Goh welcomes all patients with Vascular disease and can accommodate non-insured patients at The Royal Melbourne and The Northern Hospitals. He is a member of the renowned Royal Melbourne Hospital Diabetic Foot Unit, specialising in the salvage of complex and chronic diabetic foot wounds. Along with Iman, Dr Goh developed the first Vascular Surgery service at Bendigo Hospital in 2018. Dr Goh is a specialist in both open and minimally invasive endovascular techniques in both arterial and venous diseases, with a particular interest in complex venous disease, minimally invasive vascular surgery, and diabetic foot ulcer disease. He regularly attends and presents at both local and international Vascular scientific meetings and has authored several scientific articles and peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr Goh firmly believes in education and is an active participant in training junior doctors. He has served as an examiner at the inaugural Western Australia Vascular Exam course in 2018 and co-convenor of the Vascular Surgery trainee meeting in Melbourne in the same year. He helped develop the Victorian Vascular Education Network in 2017 and remains an active participant on the organising committee.
