About
Dr. Farrell is a consultant neurologist with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation, symptom management and neurodisability who qualified in 1999 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She moved to the U.K. for further training in 2004, completing her Neurology training before being appointed as a Consultant at NHNN Queen Square London. Dr Farrell has extensive experience providing both acute and chronic care for patients with conditions such as stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and other inflammatory disorders; she also specializes in managing walking impairments and spasticity using botulinum toxin treatments among others. In addition to her consulting work, Dr Farrell remains active in research and teaching activities related to her field of expertise.
