About Dr Farooq Rahman
Dr Farooq Rahman is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at a number of private clinics in London. His NHS post is at University College Hospital in central London. Dr Rahman is a gastroenterologist, which means he specialises in conditions affecting the GI tract lining such as inflammatory bowel disease and coeliac disease. His areas of interest include inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal failure, colonic polyps, colon cancer, coeliac disease and irritable bowel syndrome. His work has been published in a number of renowned scientific journals including The Lancet, Gut and the Journal of Crohn's & Colitis. Dr Rahman also has a passion for medical education and is also an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London. His experience in education, research, and clinical practice allows him to provide his patients with the best possible treatment and care.
