She studied Medicine at King’s College London and completed her dermatology training in London. She has also gained international experience at Harvard University’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and completed a senior fellowship in paediatric dermatology at St John’s Institute of Dermatology.

Dr Kanji holds a degree in Natural Sciences and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Cambridge. Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in research and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals. She has held an honorary position as Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London.

She has been appointed as an Executive Committee Member of the British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Dermatology, contributing to setting national standards of care in paediatric dermatology in the UK and serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the National Eczema Society.
