The gardens are wheelchair-accessible for residents to relax in or to enjoy some light gardening.There are a number of activities for residents to get involved in as they wish, including group activities and one-to-one individual activities for those nursed in bed. The team work hard to ensure that the needs and interests of each individual resident is catered to.There are also dementia friendly activities for residents living with dementia, creating a supportive environment for both new and familiar trips and and activities.The menu as Withens is an important part of the care that the team provide. With all meals cooked and prepared by the expert catering team with a range of options which are regularly changed, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The dining room is also a light and bright place for residents to enjoy meals and socialise as they wish.The team at Withens Nursing Home treat residents the same as they would their own family and work closely together to provide nursing care and end of life care.
