About
Daleview House Care Home, part of Apex Housing Association, is based in Londonderry's Waterside area and offers housing with care and nursing for older people. All residents are provided with well decorated private rooms with en-suite facilities and are encouraged to personalise their rooms in any way they like to make it feel as much like home as possible. The home has several communal areas, including: a hair salon, quiet room, lounge, dining room, guest rooms for visitors and family rooms equipped with kitchen facilities. The home itself is built on well landscaped grounds and has a central courtyard where the residents enjoy the water features and flower displays, particularly during the warmer months. Each resident is allocated a key worker who assesses their care and support needs, those who require nursing are assessed by the Nurse Manager in order for all their needs to be met. The team are highly experienced in creating care plans tailored to the needs of individual residents so residents and their relatives can rest assured that they are in good hands.Residents engage in various activities at Daleview House, set via the Weekly Activity Plan which offers activities such as music games, regular outings and arts & crafts. Church services are also offered regularly and the house is often visited by members of the local clergy.
