He further advanced his expertise with an additional critical care fellowship at McGill, followed by a clinical fellowship in Paediatric Extracorporeal Life Support and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation. In 2020, he obtained a Master of Public Health in Health Systems and Quality Management. Professionally, he serves as the Secretary General of the Gulf Paediatrics Critical Care Society and is a member of the Paediatric Acute and Critical Care Medicine Asian Network, as well as the scientific committees for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Throughout his career, Dr Kazzaz has developed a profound clinical interest in extracorporeal life support, the management of sepsis, and traumatic brain injury in children. He is also deeply involved in advancing organ donation protocols and improving the overall quality of care within paediatric intensive care units. His commitment to clinical excellence and continuous research ensures that his patients benefit from the most current and effective evidence based treatments available.
