About
Dr Lee sees patients with various general neurological conditions such as vertigo, headache, and cognitive disorders, as well as a number of different movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, multiple system atrophy, dystonia, and essential tremor. He is able to support the management of Parkinson's disease using treatments such as apomorphine and deep brain stimulation. He also uses injectable treatments for conditions such as focal dystonia, cervical dystonia, chronic migraine, and temporomandibular joint disorder.
Dr Lee gained his MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 2003 before training in internal medicine and then neurology. In 2011, he became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians after completing a fellowship in movement disorders at the Alfred Hospital. He was then awarded the Movement Disorder Society of Australia Research Fellowship before going on to complete his Doctor of Medical Science at the University of Melbourne where his work involved researching novel methods of measuring the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
Dr Lee has remained active in clinical research and has published his work in numerous medical journals. He is currently researching Parkinson's disease, particularly its epidemiology, non-motor symptoms, and rehabilitation.
