About Dr Victoria Sullivan
Dr. Victoria Sullivan is a chartered clinical psychologist at Nightingale Hospital London, with experience working across the public health sector and private practice in the UK and abroad. She supports individuals, couples, and groups across the lifespan in both inpatient and outpatient settings. At Nightingale Hospital, she works within the Eating Disorders Unit, offering individual and group therapy, and also provides psychological support for patients receiving general psychiatric care. She treats a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, stress, interpersonal difficulties, phobias, personality disorders, mood disorders, panic attacks, binge eating disorder (BED), Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED), anorexia nervosa, and bulimia nervosa. Her approach includes clinical psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling, psychotherapy, and eating disorder treatment. Victoria has a particular clinical and research interest in eating and weight disorders, and has worked in this field for over a decade. She combines research evidence with clinical experience to deliver tailored psychological treatments, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques including behavioural, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and dialectical approaches. She is especially interested in how mental health is perceived across cultures and is committed to offering therapy that empowers individuals by improving understanding and equipping them with tools to manage their difficulties. Alongside her clinical work, she has contributed to research in areas such as eating disorders, motivation for change, self-help, and health behaviours. Victoria holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS). She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of both the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP).
