I qualified as a doctor in the year 2000. Since then, I have worked in different specialities of medicine to complete my training to become a consultant.
With a career spanning over a decade, I have served as a consultant physician specialising in elderly care and general medicine since 2012.
My role at Walsall Manor NHS Hospital involves active participation in the acute medical rota, where I dedicate myself to providing comprehensive care to patients in need. Conducting three medical clinics per week, I have accumulated extensive experience in managing a wide array of acute and long-term medical issues and emergencies.
My commitment to patient welfare extends beyond hospital walls. I offer a diverse range of services, including acute and long-term care, as well as domiciliary consultations, catering specifically to the elderly residents of our community.
Central to my practice is a firm belief in a whole-person, holistic approach to patient care. Specialising in comprehensive geriatric assessment, I strive to understand and address the unique needs of older adults comprehensively. I place great emphasis on involving patients and their families in the decision-making process, empowering them to take control of their health and well-being.
With each interaction, my goal is to not only treat medical ailments, but also to restore confidence and independence in those I serve. By placing patients at the heart of care, I endeavour to make a meaningful difference in their lives, fostering a sense of empowerment and renewed vitality.
