Dr. Tanya Bajwa is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with an extensive background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Skidmore College in New York, followed by a master's and Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Columbia University.
With eight years of experience in the ABA field, Tanya has worked across various settings, including clinics and homes, providing both individual and group therapy to children aged 3 to 14. Her expertise extends to special education, where she served as a BCBA and Special Education teacher for Kindergarten through Second-grade students. In this role, Tanya conducted comprehensive assessments to design and evaluate programs focusing on academic, social, play, language, communication, and daily living skills. She developed Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborated with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physical Therapists, parents, school counselors, and social workers, to support students effectively.
