About

Sukaina is an experienced UK trained Humanistic Integrative Therapist, a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is licensed with the Community Development Authority (CDA). She has several years of mental health experience and works with clients of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults.
She is committed to ongoing professional growth and has completed several workshops and training with working with children and adolescents, and other training in trauma and attachment and has a diploma in Jungian Sandplay Therapy and Clinical Supervision.
Sukaina started her mental health career working with young adults at an A-level college. After this she moved on to working privately at her two clinic spaces, one devoted to play therapy with children and working with teenagers and the other working adults. She further went on to train as a clinical Supervisor and provided consultation to trainee therapists at a counselling training school.
In her work with children, she uses play therapy as she believes that this is the natural medium of communication for children and allows us to see into the child’s rich inner world. To support the child, she works with parents on a regular basis providing psychoeducation and assisting them with their child’s concerns.
She is also passionate about working with teenagers and adults. Tailoring the modalities used based on individual concerns and personalities. Her approach to counselling is person centered, holistic and trauma sensitive. She believes in our innate capacities for healing and growth and is passionate about helping individuals accessing their inner wisdom. 
She has trained in and works with several different modalities including Psychodynamic therapy, Person centered counselling, Internal Family systems, CBT, Gestalt, Jungian Sandplay therapy, etc. Her work is integrative and holistic.
