About
Dr Tattersall completed his medical degree with honours at the University of Sydney in 2001, before undergoing specialist training in gastroenterology and internal medicine at renowned hospitals such as Concord, Liverpool, and St Vincent’s. After becoming a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, he spent two years pursuing his interest in inflammatory bowel disease as a Senior Fellow at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK.
With a philosophy of patient-centred care, Dr Tattersall believes in providing excellent communication, evidence-based investigations and treatments, high-quality and safe endoscopy, utilising modern, state-of-the-art equipment for his patients. He has published in peer-reviewed medical journals on topics such as inflammatory bowel disease, viral hepatitis, chronic pancreatitis, Helicobacter pylori, and iron deficiency. Furthermore, he has participated in multinational trials of novel treatments for inflammatory bowel disease and pursued his interest in research through a master's degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of Sydney.
