About Ms Stacey Strong
Ms Stacey Strong is a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in cataract surgery and medical retina. With a warm and welcoming personality, she is known for putting patients at ease and building strong relationships. Ms Strong received extensive training in ophthalmology at renowned institutions such as Moorfields Eye Hospital and The Western Eye Hospital. Currently, she serves as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust, where she holds the position of Medical Retina Lead. Ms. Strong was Clinical Lead for Ophthalmology between 2021 -2024. Ms. Strong also worked in Harley street, between 2023 - 2025. Ms Strong's areas of expertise include: - urgent ophthalmology: flashing lights and floaters, posterior vitreous detachment, retinal tears (including laser treatment), uveitis, conjunctivitis, corneal abrasions, corneal ulcers, acute angle closure glaucoma, and endophthalmitis - cataract surgery and YAG laser capsulotomy following cataract surgery - dry and wet age-related macular degeneration, including injection treatments - diabetic retinopathy, including laser and injection treatments - retinal vein occlusion / retinal artery occlusion, including laser and injection treatments - central serous retinopathy - SLT/YAG PI laser treatments for glaucoma Ms Strong also offers virtual consultations for various conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, diabetic maculopathy, hydroxychloroquine screening, age-related macular degeneration monitoring, and choroidal naevus monitoring. Through this process, patients are responsible for sending their fundus photograph and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scan from their optician or ophthalmic specialist to her secretary. With her expertise, dedication, and patient-centred approach, Ms Stacey Strong delivers exceptional care as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, ensuring her patients' visual health and well-being. Ms. Stacey Strong sees patients at Spire Bushey Hospital, St. John & St. Elizabeth Hospital and undertakes aesthetics treatments in Edgware, Middlesex (upper and lower face, underarm sweating and teeth grinding).
