Mr Sotirios Saravelos is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Accredited Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine at Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust. He is based at the IVF unit of the world renowned Wolfson Fertility Centre at Hammersmith Hospital. He also holds an Honorary Clinical Lectureship at Imperial College London.

He originally graduated from the University of Sheffield and completed his Specialty and Subspecialty Training within the London Deanery, across Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea and St Mary's hospitals. He also completed an IVF Fellowship and Doctorate in Hong Kong, where he was awarded one of the most competitive research grants of the Hong Kong Government.

Mr Saravelos has made significant contributions to the field of Reproductive Medicine and has co-authored papers and guidelines for some of the most important authorities nationally and internationally, such as the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG), and the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE). He is regularly invited to lecture on various topics of Reproductive Medicine internationally, and is considered by many to be a world authority in 3D ultrasound in Reproductive Medicine. He also regularly teaches in workshops, congresses and Masters programs across the world.

His main clinical and academic interests are infertility, IVF, miscarriage, ultrasound and uterine anomalies. He has a wide experience in all forms of fertility treatments and is passionate about delivering compassionate and evidenced-based care.
