He was appointed as a Consultant in 2015 at St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London, before moving to Cambridge in 2017. He is the Programme Director for the Cambridge Bowel Cancer Screening Centre and serves as a Screening Professional Clinical Advisor for Endoscopy for the Screening Quality Assurance Services, NHS England. In addition, he is the Clinical Lead for the Endoscopy Training Academy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, where he delivers nationally recognised endoscopy training courses.
Dr Varghese is committed to maintaining high standards of care through continuous professional development and is actively involved in teaching and training. He has set up and currently runs a dedicated medical pancreatic clinic and the Cambridge Endoscopy Training Academy.
