Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Konda has demonstrated strong leadership and innovation, having successfully established a respiratory high dependency unit from concept through to completion prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also a respected medical educator and examiner, serving as a national and international MRCP PACES examiner for the Royal College of Physicians. In her role as Linacre Fellow, she supports College Tutors and Associate College Tutors across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Her commitment to education extends internationally, including work as an external reviewer for internal medicine training programmes in Kerala, India. She has also contributed significantly to sleep medicine education as an educational lead for the British Sleep Society and has been elected by her peers to represent sleep research and education at a European level through the European Sleep Research Society.
