About
During her time at Tommy’s Centre, under the supervision of renowned professors in recurrent miscarriage, Professor Quenby and Professor Brosens, she conducted her own research and completed a doctorate of medicine. Her research into improving the environment for implantation for patients with recurrent miscarriage was published in e-biomedicine, part of the Lancet family, as well as in The Guardian and The Independent. The Lancet selected her paper as one of the top 10 research highlights for 2020.
Dr Tewary joined Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2019, where she gained a breadth of experience in assisted reproduction, endometriosis, reproductive endocrinology, paediatric gynaecology and complex benign gynaecology surgery. She has written two book chapters in the area of reproductive medicine and has cared for patients in large multi-centre randomised controlled trials such as PRISM, PROMISE, and ALIFE-2.
In 2023, she was awarded subspecialty accreditation (SST) within Reproductive Medicine and her certificate of completion of training (CCT) from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She then joined Bourn Hall in Cambridge as a Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist. Dr Tewary is excited to be part of the Bourn Hall Family and aims to continue to strive for excellence in patient care.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
