Dr. Shrawan Agrawal undertook his MBBS degree and then went on to complete his post graduate training in North England (2001-2005). He was awarded with MRCP (Member of Royal College of Physicians, UK) in 2003. Following this, he went on to join the higher specialist training programme in South London and Kent. During this period he worked at Lewisham Hospital, Maidstone Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital (Farnborough), Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Woolwich) and King's College Hospital.
Dr. Agrawal also completed his MSc degree in Rheumatology from King's College, London. Later on he was also awarded his MRCP (Rheumatology) degree. He has been working as a Rheumatology consultant in the NHS since 2012 and has worked at the highly reputed Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry.
He has now moved to Medway Maritime Hospital and also runs two Rheumatology clinics at Sheppey Community Hospital. He run his private clinics at Spire Alexandra hospital, Chatham. He runs face to face clinics on Monday afternoon and video consultations on some other days during the week.
In addition to his other work, Dr. Agrawal is also a passionate educator and was the clinical lead in teaching 'long term condition block' 4th year medical students from King's College, London. His role was to teach and arrange teaching for these students at Medway hospital. He is an appraiser for some of his fellow consultants and junior doctors' at Medway Maritime Hospital.
