Dr Kathurusinghe Arachchige also completed a two-year Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecology fellowship at the Royal Women's Hospital, awarded by the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES). Dr Kathurusinghe Arachchige was awarded the position of Senior Clinical Fellow and completed a fellowship in Endometriosis and Advanced Minimal Access Surgery at Oxford University Hospital.
Dr Kathurusinghe Arachchige has concentrated on the management of extra pelvic and bowel endometriosis. They are a training supervisor for RANZCOG and AGES accredited fellowship program. Their academic interests include researching the areas of endometriosis, fibroids and laparoscopic surgery. Dr Kathurusinghe Arachchige is a principal researcher in multiple randomised controlled trials and is currently completing a Master's in Clinical Trials.
