Her research has been published in international journals and presented at national and international conferences. Dr Taheri continues to be actively involved in research into treatments for fibroids and adenomyosis, including uterine artery embolisation and radiofrequency ablation, and played a key role in introducing radiofrequency ablation for fibroids at St Mary’s in 2016, making it the first hospital in the UK to offer this treatment.
