About

Dr Scott Leslie is a leading robotic surgery specialist in Sydney, who treats urological cancers at the Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital and the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. He is also the research lead for urology at the RPA Institute of Academic Surgery and is involved in research for minimally invasive surgery for urological disorders.

Dr Leslie gained his MBBS from the University of New South Wales before undertaking a uro-oncology, transplant surgery and laparoscopic urology fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He then took a two-year fellowship during which he trained in robotic surgery at the University of Southern California, and he is now is one of Sydney's few high volume robotic surgeons.

Dr Leslie specialises in the treatment of prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer, as well as enlarged prostates and complex stone disease. He is skilled in robotic prostatectomy for prostate cancer, robotic partial nephrectomy for kidney cancer, and robotic cystectomy with intracorporeal diversion for bladder cancer.

Dr Leslie is committed to medical education and is actively involved in the robotic surgery training of urologists in Sydney and around Australia. He has also contributed to many book chapters and to the Intuitive Compendium of Robotic Surgery.
