Mr. Miakhil specialises in laser prostatectomy (HoLEPs) and upper urinary tract laparoscopy. He has performed over 450 laser prostatectomies at Peterborough City Hospital. He is also skilled in complex stone surgery, BPH surgery, and conducts Transperineal prostate biopsy as part of the investigation of Prostate Cancer.
His clinical interests includes kidney or ureteric stones, kidney (renal) cancers, renal mass on ultrasound, blood in the urine (haematuria), cystitis, urinary tract infection, bladder cancer, lower urinary tract symptoms, BPH, prostate cancer, epididymal cyst, hydrocele, tight foreskin, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, laser prostate surgery, and upper tract laparoscopic procedures.
