About
About Dr Sarah Murgatroyd. MBBS, FRACS (Orthopaedics). Paediatric and Upper limb Orthopaedic Surgeon
I'm an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a passion for helping people move well at every stage of life - from early childhood thorugh to adulthood. I specialise in paediatric orthopaedics and upper limb surgery, and I'm committed to delivering care that is thoughtful, evidence-based and tailored to the individual.
In my paediatric practice, I treat a range of conditions including hip dysplasia, foot and limb issues throughout childhood to adolescent knee and shoulder problems. With adults, I focus on the upper limb, managing everythign from carpal tunnel, to dupuytrens, trigger fingers and tendon injuries to complex reconstructions and joint replacements.
I work across Kippa-Ring, Caboolture and in the Sunshine Coast, where I consult and operate in private. No matter where you see me, my approach is the same: clear communication, careful planning, and compassionate care. I take pride in my surgical skill but also in taking the time to listen, explain and make sure patients feel supported every step of the way.
I stay current with the latest research and techniques, and bring a broad training background to every case I manage. But above all, I care deeply about getting the best outcomes for my patients - not just technically but in the way they feel and function afterwards.
