She later completed her Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Memphis, USA in 2014 and became licensed as a Counselling Psychologist by the Clinical and Counselling Psychology Board of Jordan (CDA).
Throughout her career, Dr Montes has completed extensive training and gained diverse experience in various clinical settings. Her professional journey has taken her through community mental health centres, hospitals, multiple university counselling centres across the USA, and schools. Having lived in different parts of the world, including Jordan, the UK, the USA, and the UAE, Dr Montes appreciates the richness of multicultural perspectives and values the diverse worldviews of her patients.
Dr Montes' therapeutic approach is characterised by its strength-based and collaborative nature.
