Prof Hopper earned his primary medical qualification at the University of Melbourne in 1993, after which he undertook his specialist paediatric training. Upon completion of his training, Professor Hopper was appointed Consulta at the Royal Children's Hospital, where he later became the Director of paediatric emergency training and Chief Medical Officer. Professor Hopper is empathetic to parents seeking reliable medical care for their children as a father of two teenagers and is dedicated to helping children lead healthy lives.
