About
Dr Sana Khalid is a Family Medicine physician and General Practitioner with extensive experience in internal medicine, medical emergencies, and chronic disease management. She is currently practising in the United Arab Emirates and provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across acute and long-term medical conditions.
Dr Khalid completed her MBBS at Dow Medical College, Civil Hospital Karachi, in 2006. She subsequently undertook residency training in Internal Medicine at Civil Hospital, a tertiary care teaching hospital, where she successfully completed FCPS Part 1 in Internal Medicine. During her training, she gained broad and intensive clinical experience managing medical emergencies, inpatient and outpatient services, as well as ICU and CCU patients.
Alongside her clinical responsibilities, Dr Khalid was actively involved in journal clubs, academic publications, case reviews, seminars, and presentations, and contributed to the teaching of undergraduate medical students.
Dr Khalid relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2010, where she has since built a clinical career as a General Physician and Family Medicine practitioner. She has worked in reputable medical centres before joining Prime Medical Center, delivering high-quality primary and urgent care to a diverse patient population.
In addition to her medical practice, Dr Khalid also holds an active Nutritionist licence in Dubai. She has provided nutritional assessment and counselling services at One Za’abeel Polyclinic, Chughtai Clinic FZ LLC, and THB Home Health Care LLC, allowing her to integrate dietary management into holistic patient care.
