Ms Rashid returned to North West London in 2013 to complete higher surgical training in breast surgery at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and The Royal Marsden, achieving FRCS (General Surgery) prior to her consultant appointment at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

She serves as a Programme Director for postgraduate surgical training, contributes to undergraduate teaching and assessment at Imperial College London and Brunel University London, and mentors surgical trainees.
