About Dr Roy Wheeler
Dr Roy Wheeler is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist. Their clinical radiology training took place at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospitals, with subspecialty posts at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and The Royal Marsden Hospital. Dr Wheeler undertook Interventional Radiology Fellowships at The Royal London Hospital and at St Mary's, Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals. Dr Wheeler is skilled in a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures. They also report on general ultrasound, general and oncological CT studies, and vascular MRI. Dr Wheeler is a core member of the Upper GI Multidisciplinary Team at the Kent Oncology Centre. Dr Wheeler qualified with an MA in Medical Sciences from the University of Oxford in 2006, followed by an MBBS from King's College London Medical School in 2012. They are a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), which they obtained in 2018. Dr Wheeler is a member of both the British Society of Interventional Radiology and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.
