About Mr Robert Moverley
Mr Robert Moverley is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery, with a particular focus on complex upper limb trauma and sports-related injuries. He completed his medical degree at the University of Birmingham in 2008, having previously earned a Master of Pharmacy. He further advanced his expertise with a Master’s degree in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University in 2015, before achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2017. Mr Moverley undertook specialist fellowship training at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, where he developed advanced expertise in arthroscopic shoulder surgery, shoulder replacement, and the management of shoulder and elbow trauma. His practice incorporates cutting-edge techniques, including the use of 3D CT planning technology and high-performance implants to optimise patient outcomes. An active member of both the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, Mr Moverley is also deeply engaged in clinical research and academia. He has authored multiple internationally recognised publications and regularly participates in scientific conferences worldwide, contributing to ongoing advancements in orthopaedic surgery.
