About Mr Robert Iorga
Mr Robert Iorga is a highly regarded consultant neurosurgeon specialising in neurovascular and skull base neurosurgery, with extensive expertise in managing complex conditions such as brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), brain tumours, trigeminal neuralgia, and spinal disorders. He completed post-CCT fellowships in Skull Base Surgery, Vascular Neurosurgery, and Complex Spine Surgery at prestigious institutions in London and Oxford. Mr Iorga has particular expertise in brain tumour surgery, including meningiomas and complex skull base tumours. He also manages trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm. He holds a subspecialty interest in minimally invasive, computer-navigated, and robotic-assisted spine surgery techniques. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Iorga is deeply engaged in education and research. He directs the St George’s Skull Base/Vascular Fellowship Programme in Neurosurgery and regularly presents at national and international conferences, driving forward neurosurgical knowledge and training. His passion for innovation and collaboration underscores his ongoing efforts to improve outcomes for patients with complex neurosurgical conditions.
