Rehan Ali Malik is a leading Orthotist for Paediatric Lower Limb Orthosis in the UAE. He has over 10 years of experience in prosthetics and orthotics and currently sees patients at Advance Care: Prosthetics and Orthotics Provider in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Mr Ali Malik completed his Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan in 2012 and holds a HAAD license in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He completed specialty training in spinal bracing, cranial remoulding orthosis and transtibial prosthesis. He also holds an ABC certification in Cranial Deformity Management.
Before joining Advance Care in 2016, Mr Ali Malik worked as a Prosthetist and Orthotist in India for 2 years. During this time he developed his expertise in assessing and diagnosing patients as well as prescribing, designing, manufacturing and fitting of orthopaedic supports for physically disabled patients followed by gait training. He moved to the UAE in 2014 and worked as a Prosthetist and Orthotist at Megacare Medical Equipment for 2 years.
He specialises in lower limb orthotics and prosthetics for conditions such as foot, ankle & knee deformities in cerebral palsy and clubfoot. He also has expertise in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, cranial deformities, head injuries, stroke and polio.
