About Dr Rebecca Wyten
Dr. Rebecca Wyten is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over a decade of experience in performing aesthetic surgery for women. Dr. Wyten centers her practice around education, allied staff and surgical technique to provide support for her patients. She sees private patients at St John of God Hospital and in her Mitcham rooms. Dr. Wyten gained her primary medical qualification at the University of Sydney in 2011, after which she completed and undertook her basic and specialist surgical training. Dr. Wyten then gained fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008 and was appointed Consultant. Since her appointment, Dr. Wyten has gone on to extend her care beyond the local remit and traveled overseas to Nepal to perform surgery for burn victims. She also went on to perform cleft lip surgery in various developing countries, through Open Heart International. Dr. Wyten understands the sensitive nature that accompanies aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, and endeavors to be empathetic in her approach with her patients. She is well known for her excellent bedside manner, and also for providing her patients with all the information they need to make an informed decision about their care. Dr. Wyten also utilises the latest technology and surgical techniques, to suit the specific needs of her patients. Dr. Rebecca Wyten is committed to providing individual patient experiences and understands the sensitivity associated with aesthetic and reconstruction surgery. Dr. Wyten is very caring and empathetic with a friendly bedside manner. Known for her honest, genuine advice.
