About Dr Rachel Rolph
Dr Rachel Rolph is a consultant breast surgeon at University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust. She prides herself on putting her patients first and is dedicated to delivering data-driven, equitable, patient-centred surgical care. Dr Rolph gained her medical degree in 2008 from the University of London and went on to complete an NIHR-funded Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Oxford. In 2019, she gained her FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons. She is involved in research and has interests in the following areas: • Innovation in breast surgery • Assessment of medical technology and devices in surgery • Clinical trials in breast surgery • Robotic breast surgery • Digital processes in clinical trials • Breast cancer survivorship • Integrative surgical oncology Additionally, she is a women's health advocate and educator. She takes a holistic approach to treatment and is a yoga instructor for patients with cancer and a positive psychology Vinyasa yoga instructor.
