Dr Haider completed her medical degree at the University of Western Sydney in 2013 followed by her endocrinology training at Westmead, Prince of Wales, and Nepean Hospitals. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021 and was awarded her Master of Philosophy degree in Medicine for her work on the impact of telemedicine in enhancing outcomes for individuals with Type 2 diabetes. Her dedication and achievements in the field earned her the Jerry Koutts Foundation Scholarship.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Haider actively engages in teaching and research. She has numerous publications, particularly in the utilisation of technology in managing Type 2 diabetes and the realm of diabetes in pregnancy. She is also a teacher at the University of Sydney Medical School.
